A'rhiana Russo (Arhi) was born into a small family in Sharlayan. They were neither rich nor destitute, and were of a mind that even if they were wealthy, their lifestyle was already plenty.Her parents were open-minded forward thinkers, and the single most valuable thing they taught their daughters was how to think for oneself. They were also a pair who sought to give, and give back to the world around them; her mother was a healer, and her father was a teacher. And while they received some scrutiny for their voiced belief that their people should seek affable relations with other nations, rather than being standoffish, their contributions and capability within their fields afforded them the turning of blind eyes from those that disagreed.Arhi's story ultimately begins with the passing of her father. She'd only just come of age, when her family lost him. He contracted an illness that simply could not be cured... and after fighting it for some years, fell to it.For a time, of course, her family simple mourned. But once they had enough time to grieve, it was time to keep moving forward. For her mother, that meant continuing on as a healer... but now with a special interest in seeking cures or better treatments for ailments that are as of yet incurable. But for Arhi and her sister, it meant departing their birthplace.It was their father, first and foremost within their family, who advocated for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with other lands. And he also believed that, if within one's means, it's good to see more of the world than what's within one's own borders. Thus did his daughters set out to do just that.Arhi's sister left with the goal of seeing the entire world. Arhi, on the other hand, decided to start with a smaller step; put down roots in a new place. Well... new for her, that is. She caught a ship to Eorzea, since it'd been a hot topic for... a while. Figured she may as well see what all the fuss is about. Naturally, Limsa Lominsa is where she landed... and between the culture, the scenery of Vylbrand, and of course being by the water, that's where she decided to settle in.Then it simply became a matter of making a living. Lucky for her, she's got skills she can put to use via the Adventurers Guild. And one convenient aspect of that? She can take jobs from any and all of the nations of the Eorzean Alliance, giving her a ready and profitable excuse to see more of the land she decided to become a part of.Add in a loving wife, letters from her sister, and occasional visits to Sharlayan? Arhi's found her place in the world, doing her father proud.
